To imitate a Contact’s experience in the Investor Portal, any user can impersonate a specific Contact after the record has been approved for the first time. Contact impersonation allows an Internal user to view the documents a contact has access to and see all aspects of a Contact’s portal. Contact impersonation is completely passive and is an almost exact mirror of the Contact’s experience.
- On the navigation menu, click on the ‘CRM’ tab.
- Search for the contact you are looking for.
- Click on the Associations tab to filter the results down to just contacts.
- Click on your desired contacts name.
- Click the ‘Impersonate’ button in the top right of the page.
- You are now impersonating the contact. Any changes you make will not impact the real portal.
- To exit impersonation you must click the exit button on the bottom of the page.
