  • How to Print a K-1 Consent

    There are two different ways to print a K-1 Consent. After finding the K-1 Consent you would like to print, you can simply click ‘print’ on the K-1 Consent page, or you can open the K-1 Consent and then print it.

    Quick Print

    With this option, you can quickly print the K-1 Consent you need without viewing it first.

    Steps:

    1. Click the icon at the top right corner of the page.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click ‘K-1 Consent’.
    3. Find the K-1 Consent you would like to print and click ‘Print’.
    4. A print dialogue box will open, and you can customize your print settings as desired.

    View then Print

    With this option, you can view the K-1 Consent before you print it.

    Steps:

    1. Click the icon at the top right corner of the page.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click ‘K-1 Consent’.
    3. Find the desired K-1 Consent, and click ‘View K-1 Consent’.
    4. Click the ‘Print ’ button toward the top right of the page.
    5. A print dialogue box will open, and you can customize your print settings as desired.
  • How to Change Your Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Settings

    Multi-factor authentication (MFA) codes help protect your account.

    By default, MFA codes are sent to your email when the feature is enabled.

    If you would rather have them sent via SMS to your mobile device instead:

    1. Click the hamburger icon at the top right corner of the page.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click Multi-Factor Authentication.
    3. Select SMS.
    4. Click Set Phone Number.
    5. Enter your preferred mobile phone number to receive MFA SMS messages. Be sure to add the country code and area code.
    6. Click Set.

    Note: If multi-factor authentication is not prompted upon login, then your Fund Manager has not turned this feature on for your portal and you will not see these options listed.

  • How to Find a Document

    GP Portal makes finding documents fast and easy.

    Homepage

    The homepage of the portal has a Recent Documents section, which lists the five most recent documents.  Alternately, clicking on a row in the Relationships Overview table will display all documents related to a specific investment.

    Basic Sorting and Filters

    On the My Documents page, you can sort and filter your documents to find what you need. The toolbar at the top of this page can be used to filter and search for documents.  Column headers can be clicked to sort your documents by different attributes.

    Steps:

    1. Navigate to the My Documents page by clicking the ‘View All Documents’ button.
    2. To display only the documents that have already been viewed, click ‘Viewed’ in the toolbar.
    3. To display only the documents that have not been viewed, click ‘Unviewed’ in the toolbar. Documents with an orange dot have not been viewed.
    4. The results can be sorted by either the Document Name, Publish Date, or Document Date.
    5. Clicking on the individual column headers will sort the results by that specific column.
    6. Click ‘Document Date’ and the results will be sorted by document date from oldest to newest. If ‘Document Date’ is clicked again (so that the arrow is pointing up) , they will be sorted from newest to oldest.

    Advanced Filters

    You can further sort your documents using Advanced Filters.

    Steps:

    1. Navigate to the My Documents page by clicking the ‘View All Documents’ button.
    2. In the search bar, click ‘Advanced Filters’.
    3. Select one of the filters that you would like to apply:
      1. You can enter a date range or only a start or end date.
      2. Click on the dropdown under ‘Investing Entity’ to select an Investing Entity, after which you can select one or multiple Investors in the Investor dropdown.
      3. You can select one or more folders.
    4. Click ‘Apply,’ and the overlay will close and your filtered results will display.
    5. Click ‘Clear All Filters’ in the overlay and all filters will be removed.
  • How to Contact Us

    If your question is not among those on the FAQ page or relates to a specific document, you can contact your fund manager directly or use the Contact Us form within the GP Portal.

    While signed in:

    1. Click the icon at the top right corner of the page.
    2. In the dropdown menu, click Contact Us.
    3. Enter your name, email address, and select the topic you need help with.
    4. In the Message section, include your question and any details that could help the team assist you better.
    5. Click Submit.
    6. The GP Portal team or your Fund Administrator will receive your support request and reach out to you.

    While signed out:

    On the login page of your portal, click contact us in the left pane.

  • How to Change Your Password

    There are two different ways to change your password.

    Change Password in Settings

    If you know your password and would like to change it:

    1. Log into the application using your current password.
    2. Click the hamburger icon at the top right corner of the page.
    3. In the dropdown menu, click ‘Change Password’.
    4. Enter your new password in both the New Password and Confirm New Password fields. Make sure that your new password meets all requirements listed above the entry fields.
    5. Click Save New Password.
    6. If prompted, enter the multi-factor authentication code that is sent to you.

    Forgot Password

    If you do not know your password, you can reset it through email:

    1. On the login page of your portal, click Forgot Password.
    2. Enter the email address associated with your account and click Reset password.
    3. Check your inbox for an email from noreply@gpportal.com with the subject line “GPportal – Password Reset Request”.
    4. Click the Reset your password link in the email.
    5. Enter and confirm your new password. Make sure that your new password meets all requirements listed above the entry fields.
    6. Click Save New Password.
    7. If prompted, enter the multi-factor authentication code that is sent to you.

  • How to View a Document

    Depending on the page you are on, there are two different ways to view a document.

    Homepage

    On the Homepage, in the Recent Documents section, clicking any part of the row of the document you would like to view will open the document preview page.

    My Documents Page

    On the My Documents page, clicking the document name or ‘View’ button of the document you would like to view will open the document preview page.

    Note: If the document you would like to view is not a PDF, you will need to download it in order to view it. Steps to do that can be found here.
