  • Getting Started

    Reaching the website for the first time

    1. Open your email and find the message from the GPLaunch website.
    2. Click the link inside this email to be brought to the home page after agreeing to the terms and conditions.
    3. This link expires after 7 days. You will need to request another one if this expires.

    Viewing Terms and Agreements

    1. Click on the provided Terms and Agreements link.
    2. Review the terms displayed on the page.
    3. Click Agree to proceed.
    4. A loading screen will briefly appear before moving forward.

    Accessing the Prospective Fund

    1. Open your web browser and log in to the platform using the magic link sent to you.
    2. On the home page click the fund that you wish to learn more about.
    3. From here you can view all fund data and resources.
    4. You may invite new prospects using the blue + button in the top right.

  • Navigating the Prospect User Section

    Exploring the Home Page

    1. After agreeing to the terms, you will be redirected to the Prospect User Home Page.
    2. At the top of the navigation bar you will see the products you have access to
    3. Use the menu options to explore available products and services.

    Accessing Available Products

    1. On the Prospect User Home Page, locate the Products section.
    2. Click on View Products Now to browse available investment options.
    3. Each product will display details such as descriptions, pricing, and features.

    Product Page

    1. At a Glance: You will see information about the investment advisor, point of contact, cover amount, first and final closes, and relevant resources.
    2. Overview: A summary of the funds focus and some key features.
    3. Manager Profile: Describes the team that will led the fund and their respective qualifications and reputations.
    4. Documents: Links to the related documents and folders.

  • How to Access the Platform

    1. Open your preferred web browser.
    2. Type the platform URL in the address bar.
    3. Press Enter to open the page.
    4. You should now see the login screen.

    How to Log In

    1. On the Welcome Page, locate the login section.
    2. Enter your email in the provided fields.
    3. Click the “Send Link” button.
    4. If your credentials are correct, you will be sent an email.
    5. Click the Sign In button in the email and you will be brought to the home page.

  • How to Download BI Charts & Data

    Business Intelligence (BI) is the process of collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data to support informed decision-making, improve efficiency, and identify trends. BI is useful for tracking portfolio performance, assessing investment risks, and optimizing deal sourcing by leveraging data-driven insights.

    In order to download this data, follow the instructions below depending on your role.

    As an Admin

    • Within GP Portal, select the Reports tab.
    • Scroll down and select BI Report.
    • Use the filters to clarify which data you wish to see in the report.
    • From here you can choose to Export Summary to get charts and quick information. Or, select Export All Data to receive and excel spreadsheet with all data.

    As an Investor/Contact

    Please note, as an investor, you will not be able to download all of the same data that admin and investment entities can.

    • There will be 5 BI charts on the homepage: Commitment Summary, Total Value, Cash Flow Summary, Ratio Analysis, and Capital At Work.
    • Using filters you can curate the data to create your desired analysis.
    • To download the PCAP, click the purple button to receive the zip file containing the PDFs.
  • Cosigning Passthrough Documents

    • Select the green Sign in button from your email to be taken to the tasks page of Passthrough.
    • Select Sign button on the closing you are looking to cosign on.
    • Choose the investor you are going to cosign for and hit sign. Then hit Start.
    • Read through the disclosures and paste your signature in the indicated area. Once signed hit Finish.
    • You are all done and have completed the signing.
    • Congratulations! You have now completed the closing through Passthrough.

  • Approve Passthrough Documents

    Admin Approval

    • Click Sign in on the link in the email received to reach the fund overview page.
    • Select the closing you are currently looking to manage.
    • Click the vertical ellipsis ()
    • Select Approve and click Approve in the popup.
    • The tracker above should have moved and now display that this investor has been approved.

    Cosigner Approval

    • Click the vertical ellipsis ()
    • Select send to cosigner.
    • Choose how the signature packets should be sent. And click continue.
    • Verify that you are sending the packet to the correct signer. Select save and continue.
    • Confirm the packet is correct, and hit send to cosigner to send the email when you are ready.
    • The track on the homepage should now read sent to cosigner.

  • Investor Passthrough Access

    Initial Sign in

    • Click the green Sign in button to be brought to the Passthrough login page.
    • Click the green Start button.
    • Select whether to start a new profile, or if you are returning user select to use a current one.
    • Click start questionnaire.

    Complete the Questionnaire

    • Follow the prompts and populate the fields as they appear using your personal information.
    • Submit all forms and use drag and drop to add required files so that they can be reviewed.
    • Click Confirm once all boxes have been checked.
    • Click Sign to sign both the subscription agreement and the IRS forms.
    • Create a signature and initials set to be used to electronically sign through DocuSign.
    • After signing and clicking finish you will be brought to the All Done graphic.
  • How to Create a Closing (Passthrough)

    Homepage

    When on the home page go to the closings tab.

    • Click the green button containing + Create Closing
    • Select your closing type
    • Select the name and date for your closing
    • Choose the appropriate subscription document.
      • If applicable select a default cosigner.
    • Click Create

    Create New Investors

    • Click the green Add investors button.
    • Fill in the name and email fields accordingly.
    • Slide the “Add commitment” slider to on.
    • Populate the commitment amount.
    • Click the Add button.

    Send to Investor

    • Select the vertical ellipsis ()
    • Click the send to investor tab.
    • Click the green Send button.
