Assigning a Form to an Investing Entity

If an investing entity consistently uses only one specific form from the available options, you can assign that form directly to the entity. This streamlines the document creation process by ensuring only that form is available when generating investor documents for that fund.

Note: If the required form template has not yet been created, please review our guide on Form Management prior to beginning these steps.

Steps to Assign a Form to an Investing Entity

  1. Open the Investing Entity Record
  2. Assign the Form
    • In the Investing Entity section of the record, go to the Assign Forms to Entity subsection.
    • Click Assign Document Form.
  3. Select the Form
    • Choose the Form Category and Form to associate with the entity.
  4. Submit for Approval
    • Complete all remaining required fields.

Once a form is assigned to an investing entity, only that form will be available when generating documents for investors linked to that entity.
